I am Yulonda Buster, the owner of Designs by Duchess LLC. I am also a Certified Luxury Home Specialist and serve as President of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP) Greater Houston Regional Chapter.
I have been an interior stylist for as long as I can remember, even when I didn’t know there was such a thing. Since early childhood I would rearrange the furniture in our home…constantly thinking of other ways to make a room look its best. The love that I have for beautiful interiors help me to transform homes and provide homeowners with the opportunity to live a lifestyle most only dream of.
After more than 20 years in the accounting and finance industry, I decided to step out on faith and do what I truly desired. This includes customizing rental properties and homes, sourcing furniture pieces, paint selections, custom art and so much more.
When I’m not creating dream spaces, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. In addition to that, I take delight in shopping at unique places, cooking, and fine wine. Did I mention excellent culinary? Often times, this helps to spark my creativity providing the energy and inspiration needed to achieve great things in life. With this mindset, I continue to provide exceptional service in a variety of design needs.
